Scrape a website to CSV without code: public lists into living spreadsheets
Turn directory and catalog pages into Datasets you can export, refresh on a schedule, and feed to your team—no crawler repo required.
People search “webpage to Excel”—they want a reusable table
Queries like “scrape website without coding,” “webpage to CSV,” or “directory page to lead list” rarely mean a one-shot screenshot export. People want stable columns—company name, link, phone, price—from public list pages; a way to re-run when the page updates; downloads for colleagues; and optionally an API for internal tools. Browser export plugins fail by week two. Hand-written crawlers put ops, selectors, and schedulers back on the engineering backlog.
HuluFlow productizes that path: paste or generate URLs → discover fields and preview samples → scrape + store into a Dataset → export CSV/JSON or pull via API. You still collect only public pages you are allowed to access; what you drop is “open a new crawler repo per request.” See lead lists and Getting started.
Shortest path: public list → Dataset → CSV
A minimal graph that works:
url_gen (or single-URL scrape) → list scrape → store
- Create a workflow; point scrape at a directory URL, or use
url_genlist/range for pagination. - Run field discovery; keep title, link, region, and other columns that look right in the sample.
- Wire
storewith a Dataset and dedupe keys (usuallyurl/link). - Run once, browse the Dataset, export CSV for a teammate to sanity-check headers.
- Add
interval_minuteswhen you need refresh; addnotifywithwhen=newfor new-row alerts.
If you are already on the page, use the Chrome extension to analyze the tab and save a workflow, then finish store and export in the console. Cloud schedules and extension cold-start complement each other.
Lead lists: directories that stay fresh
Sales and growth teams often need: industry directories, exhibitor lists, hiring pages → structured tables. HuluFlow is not “scrape the whole web”; it is your locked set of public directory URLs, maintained with a repeatable workflow.
Calibrate on one or two pages first. Once company name and detail links are stable, expand url_gen pagination. Add a detail scrape for email or social only after the list layer lands cleanly—most teams are blocked on “no company+URL table,” not on missing columns.

Versus export plugins, sheet formulas, and DIY scripts
Browser export plugins are fine for occasional one-page copies. They are weak on schedules, historical dedupe, team access, and APIs. When markup drifts, there is rarely a shared preview-and-fix loop.
Spreadsheet IMPORT helpers handle trivial HTML. Pagination, detail fan-out, and change alerts quickly outgrow sheet formulas.
Custom scripts maximize control and cost: environments, retries, secrets, alerting, and collaboration are yours. HuluFlow leaves fetch execution to crawld-web and owns the graph, Datasets, credits, and API—a fit for structured public pages on a cadence, not login walls or aggressive anti-bot work.
Field quality: preview, names, and keys
Before exporting CSV, check samples: readable headers, absolute links, acceptable null rates. Split URL and title instead of one blob column. Store key fields drive upserts—without a stable key, every run appends duplicates and the CSV rots.
Prefer short English field names (title, url, company) for mixed teams; keep naming consistent with your locale settings so you are not renaming CSV headers every week.
Refresh cadence, credits, and export
Free tier is for proving the path; production directory monitors should budget page requests on pricing. Match frequency to the business—weekly catalogs and daily hiring boards burn very different credit volumes. Export from the console (CSV/JSON) or pull Dataset rows via API; see the API-first guide.
Pause schedules on repeated failures so you do not burn credits on empty runs. Name a workflow owner—orphan schedules are a common source of dirty CSVs.
Compliance: public pages, fair rates, lawful use
Being able to open a page is not the same as permission to bulk-collect it. Use only public information you may access; keep request rates reasonable; respect site terms and law. Notify mail and Datasets may hold sensitive fields—guard accounts and API keys. HuluFlow is not a login-wall or anti-bot bypass tool; product and marketing stay aligned on that boundary.
Next steps
Try the public analyze demo on the home page, or start free and ship a first “list → Dataset → CSV” pipeline. For price-change email, read price monitoring; to start from the current tab, see Chrome extension workflows.
Good SEO content does not stuff keywords—it turns “webpage to spreadsheet” into an executable product path. The first week your same workflow still exports a clean CSV is when scraping stops feeling like a one-off project and starts feeling like a table you own.
